Step 5: Now, you have to wait for some time until the power LED light of your repeater turns solid blue. 
Step 6: At last, a message displayed on your screen saying rockspace range extender is set up successfully. It will boost the WiFi signals to a longer distance. 

Method 2: Through the Web Interface
By following the below method, you can connect the Rockspace WiFi range extender to your mobile or laptop using the default SSID or the wired connection in which the extender is connected to the Ethernet port. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Firstly, connect the Rockspace WiFi range extender to the electrical socket. Also, place the extender in the same room in which you have placed the wireless home router. 
Step 2: Launch WiFi on your laptop or mobile and then scan for the wireless network. After waiting for some time, you will get the Rockspace default SSID named rockspace_ext.
Step 3: Thereafter, connect rockspace_ext SSID and then wait for some time until your extender device is connected to the laptop or mobile successfully.
Step 4: Launch an internet browser of your choice from your system and visit re.rockspace.local to access the Rockspace range extender setup page. You can also use the default IP address 192.168.0.254. Wait for some time until the login page is displayed on your screen.
Step 5: In the next step, create a new login password for your Rockspace range extender if you are setting up your device for the first time. Ensure that you have used a strong login password. Tap on the Next button to proceed further. 
Step 6: Next, you will get a list of all the wireless networks nearby your Rockspace extender.
Step 7: Select your existing wireless network name from the displayed list. Enter the password for your chosen wireless network if required that you want to extend.
Step 8: Now, change the SSID for your extended wireless network. 
Step 9: Wait for some time until your network will get extended successfully. 
Step 10: Next, go to the mobile and rescan for the wireless network.
Step 11: At last, you will get an SSID named Rockspace_5GEXT for a new extended network that you have created during the configuration. You can use the same wireless password for the extended network as your existing wireless network password.
